Steve Bethel

President

Steve Bethel serves as President of Mississippi Communities Health Advisers (MCHA) and Vice President, Development of Vigilant Health. Prior to joining Vigilant, Mr. Bethel was the President and CEO of Angel Eye Camera Systems which provides real-time video and audio interaction between patients, family members and caregivers in acute intensive care units. He was part of the founding management team that helped commercialize this proprietary technology from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences deployed in over 65 hospitals in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Bethel has also served in leadership and operating roles in several health care services companies in the ambulatory surgery and clinical trials industries. He has an extensive background in business development in the health care services sector and commercial and investment banking. He has held senior account roles at Citibank NA and was a Senior Vice President at Stephens Inc. in Little Rock.

Mr. Bethel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Cornell University.
